The Kiwanis Club of Hopewell was chartered in September 1999 and meets every Thursday, 7pm at Sky Beach in Hopewell, Hanover. Currently our membership is 29 but we are hoping to increase it to 31 by the end of the Kiwanis year (September 30).

We are often referred to as the “Little big Club” because of what we have been able to achieve with our membership which is considered average in comparison to clubs with a membership of 80 or more. Our strength and resolve (mainly fellowship and service/giving back) is what has kept us together over the years.

It is our pleasure to partner with the Tryall Fund in their annual Dental Mission for young children (pre- schoolers). We are also partners with Caribbean Health Outreach and Hopewell Jaycees in their annual Medical Mission since its inception in 2002.

Other community projects where we give selflessly are to the indigents, Aunt Laura’s Playground, (for kids) Beach Clean Up and Beautification, and Water preservation among other community projects.

Some of our latest events.
